CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens marginally up on gains in financial shares

Feb 4 (Reuters) – Canada’s main stock index edged higher at open on Monday as gains in financial shares helped more than offset losses in materials and energy sectors.

* At 9:30 a.m. ET (1430 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX Composite index was up 21.12 points, or 0.14 percent, at 15,527.43.
