Safe Foods Subsidiary Names David Fortune its VP

La Petite Roche Technologies, a subsidiary of Safe Foods Corp. in North Little Rock, has hired David Fortune to serve as its vice president.

Fortune has more than 40 years of management experience. Before joining La Petite Roche Technologies, he was plant manager for Thomas & Betts, vice president of sales and business development for KMCO LLC and director of business development for Athlon Solutions/Halliburton.

He studied marketing and finance at the University of Mississippi for three years, then received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis after relocating from Mississippi to Forrest City in 1984.

Fortune served on the Society of Chemical Manufacturers & Affiliates’ Board of Governors from 2013 to 2016 and served on its Government Relations Committee and the Membership Committee.

He has also been a member of the Houston Chemical Association for 15 years and currently serves on that board as scholarship chairperson.
